This breed is often seen in television commercials because of this striking look.They are more active than a ragdoll but equally personable and friendly. These guys are smart and very playful. My son has a cat game on his IPod and his American Shorthair boy pesters him daily to play the video game. Pictured is my adult silver classic tabby boy "Zpprr".

Cat Nouveau

A long term dream of mine has been to create a new breed of cat possessing all my favorite cat characteristics. I love the gentleness and confidence of the Ragdoll along with their soft luxurious haircoat. The American Shorthair breed is a breed with the most beautiful classic tabby markings and are so full of fun ! Combining the chocolate and cinnamon of my Ragdolls with the silver and classic tabby genes of the American Shorthair I know will produce a glorious look. I have been collecting my favorite cat characteristics for many years now and the time has come to work towards producing "Cat Nouveau" !

These kittens are my first cross towards that goal. I can already tell that we are headed in a wonderful direction. These kittens have been so much fun. They have soft luxurious shorthair with beautiful silver classic tabby markings and are sweet, friendly and so full of joy. Kittens are $400.00 which includes altering and vaccinations including rabies.
